Mission: The skilled nursing facilities of the Royal Health Group are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, homelike environment that encourages a feeling of comfort and safety through a structured, individualized program.
Philosophy: We believe that the quality of life for a person with Alzheimer’s disease is enriched when we honor the uniqueness of each resident by building on their strengths and understanding the essence of who they are as a person.
Program Overview: The program is based on a social model, with family style dining, and activities provided by both recreation staff and C.N.A.s, resulting in more activities, more engagement and a heightened cognition level in a failure-free environment. We utilize innovative approaches including music and movement to help residents recover memory and cognition.
Training: All licensed staff members are trained to be Dementia Practitioners, with CNA’s undergoing in-depth dementia training and given detailed background on residents prior to admission.
Short-Term Rehab: Does a loved one with a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s or a related dementia need short-term rehabilitation? If so, we can help. The Royal Innovation: Alzheimer’s Care program is designed to meet the specific needs of this population in an environment that understands Alzheimer’s disease.
